Kent's changing climate

Kent is no stranger to severe weather events and the impacts and opportunities these bring. Kent County Council, district and borough councils, Kent Fire and Rescue, Kent Police, the NHS and a whole host of other partners are all working together to ensure that, in the future, Kent is more resilient to the changing climate.

They will be using the lessons and knowledge gained from previous events to help inform and manage future climate risks.

The following pages provide further information on past impacts on Kent, what climate change is likely to look like in the future and what we can all do to prepare for risks and make the most of opportunities.

Also, have a look at our 'What you can do' pages.
