Traffic Regulation Orders
Temporary closures
Occasionally, it is necessary to close public rights of way on a
temporary basis for public safety reasons. For instance, to enable
excavations or maintenance to take place or because construction is
taking place next to them.

Traffic Regulation Orders
There are also a small number of rights of way that are subject
to traffic regulation orders or gating orders that restrict use to
certain users or limit use at some times of year or at some times
of day.
