Consultations

Project consultations

Kent countryside pathWe want to keep you informed and involved in the development of the public rights of way network.

As we work towards the delivery of our Countryside Access Improvement Plan, there will be opportunities to develop the rights of way network on which we would value your opinion.

Order notices

We have to publicise a number of notices in the local press and on site about orders it has made. If an order is confirmed (authorised), this will lead to a change to the public rights of way network; for instance, the diversion of a public footpath.

Below is a list of public consultations for current orders:

Please note that if you object to some types of order and maintain the objection, the matter must be forwarded to the Secretary of State for determination.

You may be liable for the costs incurred by us, if your objection is found to be irrelevant or frivolous by the Secretary of State at any subsequent public inquiry or hearing.
