Reducing and reusing waste

Kent residents currently produce about 755 000 tonnes of household waste every year. A lot of our waste can be recycled, however, we should reduce and reuse the waste we produce as a priority.

Kent County Council offers two services to help households reduce and reuse more of their waste.

As consumers, we can all decide to make small changes in what we buy and how we use products to drastically reduce our waste.

See our top tips for ideas of how you can reduce, reuse and recycle your waste.
