Current campaigns

Kent County Council is trying to promote responsible creation and disposal of waste. We have launched two countywide campaigns to highlight specific issues and change residents' attitudes and behaviours.

Recycle for Kent campaign

This campaign promotes the "reduce, re-use and recycle" message. We actively promote the use of cloth nappies and home composting to reduce waste creation and recycling to divert waste away form lanfill sites. Our new campaign is aimed at reducing food waste in Kent, to find out more view the Love Food Hate Waste campaign.

Clean Kent Campaign.

The clean Kent campaign aims to improve the quality of the Kent environment by reducing fly-tipping and littering.
