If you have a complaint or comment about the way your
planning application was dealt with, or have any other comments to
make about the planning service, you can raise it through the
county council's complaint procedure.
Such complaints will then be investigated by the council's
complaints officer, on instruction by the council's chief
executive.
If you would like to make a complaint please see our information
on
where and how to complain.
Local government ombudsman
You can also register complaints to the local government
ombudsman, who is totally independent from the county council.
The ombudsman only has the power to investigate the procedures
followed by local authorities, i.e. how a decision was reached
rather than whether the decision was correct.
For more information or to register a complaint visit the
local government
ombudsman's website (link opens in a new
window). |
