Details of applications for major works in
Kent.
East Kent access phase 2
The county planning authority has received a planning
application for a new dual carriageway and associated works.
This proposal is to link the A256 at Richborough Power Station,
the A299 at Minster Roundabout and the Lord of the Manor Junction
on the outskirts of Ramsgate.

Margate and Broadstairs urban wastewater treatment scheme
Four planning applications were submitted by Southern Water
Services Limited for a scheme to provide Margate and Broadstairs
with modern wastewater treatment facilities.
The proposals were permitted by the county council on 18 March
2005.
