Try Angle Awards 2012

Try Angle Awards 2012                                                                                                                              Spirit of Try Angle 2011 winner Charlotte LewisThe Try Angle Awards were introduced in 1994 to raise the profile of the vast majority of young people – aged 11-18 years – who really TRY, often with little recognition, to DO THEIR BEST!  These awards really do recognise the outstanding efforts and achievements of the young people in our community.

2012 is a very special moment in our country's history, with the Olympic and Paralympic Games coming to London. The Games represent  sportsmen and sportswomen from around the world coming together to TRY to DO THEIR BEST, and so we wanted to place the Olympic and Paralympic values at the heart of this year's Try Angle Awards. In Kent we recognise the values with PRIDE.

The London 2012 Games have been deliberately designed to inspire young people across Britain and the world, and therefore this year through the Try Angle Awards each young person in Kent will have their own chance for a place on the winners' podium - our very own Try Angle stage.
