Kent Mountain Centre
Kent
Mountain Centre is a residential outdoor education centre in
Llanberis, North Wales. We design and provide activity
programmes for groups of people of all ages and abilities. Our
approach is based on fun, excitement, learning and safety; in
outdoor and team building activities.
Kent Mountain Centre is set in wooded grounds at the foot of
Snowdon on the shores of the beautiful Padarn Lake. There are
numerous places of interest to visit close by, including a Welsh
slate museum, a hydro-electric power station and several
castles.
Kent Mountain Centre is staffed by highly qualified, friendly
and professional people. The centre is fully equipped and each
participant can borrow: rucksack, waterproofs, fleece sweater, hat,
gloves and boots for the duration of their stay.

We offer activities including mountain climbing and scrambling,
rock climbing, gorge walking, sea level traversing, problem
solving, orienteering, canoeing and kayaking.
We can also offer local knowledge, safety advice and support to
assist teachers with geography and other fieldwork courses.
The centre can house and cater for groups of up to 45
people. The accommodation includes an en-suite wheelchair
accessible bedroom for three people on the ground floor.
If you would like a Kent Mountain Centre information pack,
please contact us and remember to include your name, postal
address, email address and daytime telephone number. It
would also be useful if you could tell us what type of group
and visit you have in mind in order to help us to send
appropriate information.
