Infant and junior school places

Your nearest school may be an infant or a junior school instead of a primary school.

You would apply for an infant school place in the same way as you apply for a primary school place. You would need to fill out the RCAF (Reception Common Application Form) and name the infant school as your preference.

If your child is currently in an infant school and you want them to transfer to a junior school in Year 3, you would need to fill out the JCAF (Junior Common Application Form) instead.
