Times when you should not apply online

  • If your child is not starting Year R, transferring from infant to junior school, or transferring to Year 7, you will not be able to apply online and you will need to contact us for help in finding a school place.
  • If your child has a statement of special educational needs, you should not apply online.
  • If you live outside of Kent. (You must pay your council tax to Kent district council in order to apply online for secondary school)
  • If you have already completed and sent in a paper application form for a school place.

You cannot currently apply online for an In Year admission – if you wish to apply for a school place outside the year of entry (e.g. a year 2 or year 8 place) please refer to our In Year admission page for information.
