Learning with the Kent Children's University
Workshops and Courses
Kent Children's University workshops and courses are now offered
by our hubs in Canterbury,
Tenterden and Sittingbourne. Activities will
be advertised in neighbouring schools or on the
hub school’s website. All of the activities will be
informal, have a clear structure and learning outcomes and be
available to children of all ability levels.
All staff will have relevant safeguards in place and will offer
high-quality sessions.

Learning Destinations
Children and young people collect credits by attending a variety
of activities hosted at affiliated tourist attractions, schools or
by external providers across the UK.
These credits go towards national Children's University
certificates. Children who earn a gold certificate (for over
100 hours of learning) will be invited to a university campus, with
a parent or guardian, for our annual awards presentation
evening.

affiliated to the Learning Destinations Scheme
