Kent Children's University

We provide informal learning opportunities primarily via Learning Destinations within Kent County Council schools, at three dedicated hub-schools and at a range of top tourist attractions around the county. Each activity is designed to boost attainment, self confidence and social skills as well as to encourage children to develop a love of learning.

The scheme is open to children of all abilities aged between 7 and 14 years old.QUISS logo

The scheme has been operating in the county since 1998. We are the longest continuously operating Children's University in the UK.

We were awarded Advanced Recognition Status by QiSS (Quality in Study Support) in 2007, and in July 2010 successfully revalidated at this level.

We are keen to work in partnership with even more schools and tourist attractions in 2011. To find out what benefits working in partnership with KCU can bring to your school or venue.
