Independent Appeal Panel
The Independent Appeal Panel will hear parental
appeals. The members of the panel will have no connection to
the school. They will meet within 15 school days of an appeal being
lodged. Parents/carers, the school and the LA will be invited to
the meeting. The panel rehear the case and all parties will have
the opportunity to make representations.
The panel will either:
- reject the appeal
- uphold the appeal and reinstate
- uphold and not reinstate.
