We want all Kent's children and young people to grow up feeling secure, especially at school. We know that bullying can have a bad effect on a child's education and we are committed to working with schools and other organisations to prevent and tackle bullying. We have a Kent anti-bullying strategy set up which has full details about what we do here in Kent to fight bullying.

If you are worried that your child is being bullied

For advice and information on what to do if you think your child is being bullied visit the Kent Safeguarding Children Board website.

If you are a child or young person who is being bullied

If you're being bullied, or you're worried about bullying in your school or around where you live, there are some places you can get more information and help when you need it. The best way to fight bullying is to make sure you tell someone what's happening. Childline offer a free and confidential helpline for children and young people and can help if you're being bullied. To contact them call 0800 11 11 or send them a message via their website.
