Proposal to close The Astor of Hever Community School
Proposed closure of the Astor
of Hever School and its replacement with a Government Funded
Academy
On 26 March the Schools' Adjudicator,
the Schools Organisation Unit, the Diocese and the Chair of
Governors were notified of the decision to implement the above
proposal.
Under the regulations relating to
schedule two of the Education and Inspections Act 2006, an
appeal could be made within four weeks of that date. No such
appeal was made. Relevant officers have now been instructed
to implement the decision.
