The Proposed Academy at Ashford
Following the end of the Public Notice period
and after full considerations of any representations received, Kent
County Council's Cabinet Member for CFE, Mrs Sarah Hohler, has
taken her decision under procedures laid down in Kent County
Council's constitution. She has decided to implement the proposal
to close Ashford Christ Church (A Church of England Maths and
Computing Specialist College). A Government-funded Academy
(The John Wallis Church of England Academy, Ashford) will be
established in the existing buildings on 1 September 2010.
