Redesignation and relocation of Foxwood and Highview
schools
Kent County Council is proposing to re-designate Foxwood School
as a school for Profound and Severe Learning Needs and Highview
School as a school for Complex Learning Needs; relocate both
schools onto another site; remove the boarding provision at Foxwood
School; and change the age range of Highview School to include
post-16.
The public consultation period ended on 25 February

Following the end of the public consultation, Kent County
Council published a
public notice which exprired on 3 June 2010.
There were no representations to the public notice and Mrs Sarah
Hohler, cabinet member for Children, Families and Education has
agreed that the changes to Foxwood and Highview schools can be
implemented.
