Proposal to close The Bradbourne School and The Wildernesse School

Kent County Council has approved the closure of The Bradbourne School and The Wildernesse School on 31 August 2010 and their replacement with an Academy, which will open on the schools' existing sites on 1 September 2010.
 
This follows the expiration of the Public Notice on 22 July 2009 for which no objections were received.
