Hi, my name is Claire and I am the Youth Participation Coordinator for Kent Youth and Community. I lead the team that supports the development of the Kent Youth County Council and I coordinate the elections that take place across Kent each Autumn.

Our team also develops opportunities for young people in Kent to get involved in a wide range decision making processes and activities at local, national and international level. Many of these are open to any young person between the ages of 11 ~ 18 who are not directly involved with KYCC.

I'm John. As part of my job, I look after all of the participation activities that go on in the West of Kent which includes Dartford, Gravesham, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Tonbridge and Malling. 

As well as KYCC, I also co-ordinate the Youth Opportunity Fund panels in these areas.

I have a lead responsibility for British Youth Council in Kent as well as supporting the KYCC in their Positive Activities and 2012 campaigns.

Hi, I’m Sadie and I look after Shepway, Canterbury, Swale, Dover and Thanet. As well as KYCC, I also co-ordinate the Youth Opportunity Fund panels in these areas.

I help co-ordinate the UK Youth Parliament in Kent, supporting our 5 MYPS (Members of Youth Parliament) and 5 DMYPS (Deputy Members of Youth Parliament) to participate in both regional and national meetings, and to promote their local and regional campaigns. Hello, I'm Sarah and I look after the paperwork and finances for Youth Participation as part of the Business Management Team. 

I'm in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays so am usually the easiest person to get hold of. I'm happy to answer any queries you may have about the work of the Youth Participation Team in Kent. 

Whilst I am the main contact point for Youth Participation, any of my colleagues will be able to assist you with any queries or requests that you have.
