User Survey
In 2010, Kent Youth Service
undertook a survey of the young people who used its facilities
between 26 November and 17 December.
The survey was filled in online and over internet enabled
phones. There were also paper surveys available for those who did
not have access to the internet.
The survey was created in partnership with a group from
Kent Youth
County Council, and was designed to be brief and
anonymous, focusing on what young people felt they gained from
attending the Youth Service provision.
The Results
The survey showed that Kent Youth Service is successfully
engaging with a range of young people and continues to be extremely
popular amongst its user groups.
The responses from young people highlighted a large
number of positive outcomes which they feel they achieve
through accessing the Kent Youth Service provision, and the
value young people place upon having a local youth work provision
available to them.
