Home to college transport

Public transport

If you are having trouble getting to and from college visit our public transport pages for information on public transport bus and train routes.

Certain local bus services primarily intended to take pupils to or from school or college have been omitted from maps for the sake of clarity. See 11-19 Travel below for specific information on transport to and from your college.

Travel assistance

The current travel assistance scheme for students aged 16-19 is currently under consultation. This consultation is a proposal to reform the current travel assistance scheme for learners aged 16-19. Once this has been finalised we will make parents and schools aware of the outcome.

For students currently receiving travel assistance, this will continue until your course has finished.

11-19 Travel
