The Young People's Fund is designed for
Young people who need small amounts of money to achieve a personal
goal, e.g. money towards equipment, short courses, trips or other
events that help with personal development.
It is available to anyone aged between 11 and 25 that lives
within Kent County Council boundaries and is unable to fund the
full amount of the application themselves.
PLEASE NOTE THAT GROUP APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
Grants are usually between £25 and £75 and would be a
contribution towards the total cost and may be less than the amount
you ask for.
The Panel meets every two months and applications must be made
at least 4 weeks before the date of your project. Grants will not
be given after the event or activity has taken place.
The Panel will not give grants towards:
Ongoing commitments
- Top-up grants for full-time college/education courses
- Applicants unable to demonstrate some level of need
- Group applicants - the fund exists solely to support
individuals
