This is a very detailed process that will find out exactly what your child's special educational needs are, and what kind of special help they may need. Your child's school and any professionals that may have already been involved with your child, such as a speech language therapist or a hospital consultant, will have to provide information. They will also ask for your views and you should feel free to ask any questions you may have.
