What happens after the statutory assessment?
|
When the AEN officer has collected all the advice and
comments about your child's educational needs, we will decide
whether or not to write a statement of SEN for your
child.
The decision is made by the County Panel (a group of senior
representatives from the Pupil Services Division). They will
consider the evidence very carefully and decide what help your
child needs.
As part of this, they will decide whether or not to issue a
statement of special educational needs. |
