What are annual reviews?
|
An annual review is a meeting that allows us to
- check that the support your child has received over the past
year has helped them to make progress
- see if your child's needs have changed in any way
- think about and plan for the next year so that we can agree new
aims and targets
- see if the statement is still suitable or needs changing in
some way (sometimes, we might find we no longer need the
statement).
The annual review is in four parts
- first we collect information
- then we have the annual review meeting
- then the head teacher prepares a report on the meeting to send
to us
- finally we will review the statement in the light of what the
report says.
