Project Delivery

The Kent Grouped Schools PFI Project is managed and delivered by KCC's Private Sector Partner, the Kent Education Partnership (KEP). The partnership is a specially-formed group of companies, selected in line with European Union Procurement rules, who design, construct and providing ongoing service management support to the schools within the project.

The partnership includes:

• Bilfinger Berger BOT - Consortium leader
• Costain - Building Contractor
• William Verry - Building Contractor

KEP's partner, MITIE, is responsible for providing the schools with facilities management services, e.g.:

• Cleaning
• Catering
• Site Security and Management
• Porterage
• Building Maintenance
• Waste Management and Pest Control
