Welcome to the Kent Building Schools for the Future (BSF)
Programme website.
BSF is a national initiative that aims to deliver 21st century
schools for every secondary school pupil in England. As such, it
represents the single largest investment for improving school
buildings in over 50 years.
Kent's BSF Programme, established in 2006, aims to rebuild or
renew its secondary schools over a period of 10 - 15 years. Far
from being just another school building programme, BSF provides
Kent with the opportunity to combine significant capital investment
in state-of-the-art buildings and ICT facilities with a bold
educational vision to transform teaching and learning and locate
schools at the heart of their community.
This site aims to provide users with regular updates on the
programme's progress, as well as provide access to key documents,
timescales and consultations. If you would like more information
