Briefing notes are distributed directly to all Kent's
governors, clerks to governing bodies and headteachers in January,
April and September each year.
The notes provide a good means of communicating news and
information to governors on a variety of topics. They consist of a
series of short articles together with suggested actions, and
always include a Kent County Council contact and often a website
for accessing further information.
The notes also form part of the discussion at the termly Cluster
Governor Meetings led by the Local Education Officer.
