Open College Network South East Region

OCNSER (Canterbury office) will provide the quality assurance framework for the Kent Higher Education Compact. This will comprise several key activities:

• Managing the approval of applications to enter new elements to Strands Two and Three, subject to final approval by the Kent H.E. Compact Steering Group.
  
• Externally accrediting (i.e. providing external verification of achievement) the OCN unit (course) in Strand One and other OCN units (courses) in Strands Two and Three.
  
• Providing overall verification of achievement of the H.E. Compact and the number of Compact points gained by students.
  
• Providing achievement information to Kent H.E. Compact university partners on completion of the Compact programme by students.
