Kent County Council would like to hear your views on a proposal
to close Tunbridge Wells High School and replace it with a new
Government funded Academy.
The consultation process is in two parts. The first is about the
need to close Tunbridge Wells High School in order to make way for
an Academy whilst the second part will be a separate but linked
consultation about the opening of an Academy, led by project
management consultants on behalf of the Sponsors and funded by the
DCSF.
You can respond to the consultation regarding the school closure
in three ways:
- By completing a response form and sending it to: - Ms Chris
Lay, Area Children's Services Officer (Sevenoaks and Tunbridge
Wells), 17 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent, ME19
4UL. Fax: 01732 525223.
- Attending a public meeting at 7pm on Thursday 4 December 2008
at Tunbridge Wells High School, Blackhurst Lane, Tunbridge Wells,
Kent, TN2 4PY
- Emailing your comments to
school.consultations@kent.gov.uk
All responses must be received by 19 December
2008.
Further details about the proposed Academy and the linked but
separate consultation can be accessed from the
Proposed Tunbridge Wells Academy website (this
link opens in a new window).
This site is managed by the PKF, the project managment
consultants appointed by the sponsors. |
