New School Competition in Repton Park, Ashford

Proposal received

Kent County Council published a Statutory Public Notice on 9 May 2008 inviting proposals for a new primary school in Repton Park, Ashford. The notice expired on 9 September 2008. Kent County Council received one proposal from The Homewood Trust in response to the invitation Notice and a copy of their complete proposal can be found below.

A public meeting will be held at St Teresa's Primary School, Quantock Drive, Ashford TN24 8QN on Wednesday 1 October 2008 at 7pm. The Homewood Trust will outline their proposal for the new school at the meeting and people will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Second Statutory Public Notice

Kent County Council published a second Statutory Public Notice on 26 September 2008 which summarised the proposal received for the new school. Any comments or objections to the notice should be sent to David Adams, Area Children's Services Officer (Ashford & Shepway), Mid Kent Education Office, Kroner House, Eurogate Business Park, Ashford, Kent TN24 8XU or by email to school.consultations@kent.gov.uk. The closing date for representations is 7 November 2008

Consultation on the proposed relocation of Grange Park School to Wrotham School

Kent County Council would like to hear your views on a proposal to move Grange Park Special School from its current site at Leybourne, West Malling, to new buildings within the grounds of Wrotham School.

You can respond to the consultation by completing a response form and sending it to Chris Jones, Area Education Officer (Maidstone, Tonbridge and Malling), Area Education Office, Kroner House, Eurogate Business Park, Ashford TN24 8XU. Responses must be received by 1 August 2008.
