Get involved

We've already had some great input from young people just like you as we've been creating our Headstart project. It's so important to us that your voice is heard. If you're aged 10-16 and you live in Kent, you could get involved today - tell us what we're getting right, where we're going wrong, and guide us to what we should be doing next.

We would like you to help us make things even better.

There's lots of ways to get involved.

  • Come to a Shout Out meeting to share your new ideas and comments about our project (meet at Ashford Youth Hub 10:30am - 2pm one Saturday a month)
  • Become a Young Evaluator and officially evaluate our project. You'll be able to influence change and improve our services for young people in Kent
  • Become a Youth Health Champion
  • Get trained for interviews and interview panels and learn how to do things like write questions for an interview and interview new staff. You'll get a Laser Level 2 award in recruitment and selection.

If any of those sound good, then please email sadie.williams@kent.gov.uk and we'll send you some more details about how to get started. You can also sign up to take part in user testing and feedback online.
