Guidelines for applying:
  • The minimum academic requirement for entry to the Sixth Form is 6 GCSE subject passes at grade A*-C
  • GCSE English and Mathematics must be at grade C or above.
  • An 'A' grade is preferred in those subjects (or related subjects) students wish to study at A Level.
  • A minimum B Grade at GCSE is required unless otherwise stated.
  • Continuation on any Sixth Form course will be subject to satisfactory academic progress being made.
  • A minimum D grade is required for progression in a subject from AS to A2.

Guidelines for applying:
Students wishing to study A Level / Level 3 (L3) courses (equivalent to A levels) must obtain 5 A* - C grades (or equivalents) including a C grade minimum in English/Maths and/or show prior success in said subject. Grade B is preferable in the L3/A Level courses and is non-negotiable in Maths and Science based A Level subjects.

External candidates will be required to show previous reports outlining achievement, attendance and behaviour.
