Waterside Children's Centre


Come and visit us at Waterside Children's Centre! Lots of fun activities for you and your children to play, learn, and have fun together.

Our Children's centre is part of a nationwide programme of services for 0-5 year olds and their families. Our aim is to offer information, advice and support to parents, as well as integrated childcare and early learning, health services, family support and parental outreach.

The nearest railway station is Ashford International.

The nearest bus stop is Beazley court, Newtown and is 2 minutes walk away.

Parking availability

There is no charge for the car park and it is directly in front of the children's centre. There is designated disabled parking and sufficient parking for 40 cars.

Volunteering

Are you interested in volunteering with children, young people and families? To find out more about the volunteering opportunities that are available, click here.

Free childcare

All 3 and 4 year olds and some 2 year old’s are entitled to a certain amount of free early education and childcare. To see if your child is eligible, please click here.

Ashford Youth Hub (Youthy) is open five nights a week. We have a wide range of activities on offer, including; sports, arts, information, advice, music, fitness, computers, games and courses, such as First Aid and ASDAN, please click Here.

So, if you want to play football, sing, dance or just want to hang about with your friends, come and join us. We also run focused groups for girls, on issues such as self-esteem and emotional regulation. Duke of Edinburgh Award and we also run off site trips activities and residentials.
