Cheriton Drop-In

As a result of a significant increase in anti-social
behaviour and reported crime, the Cheriton Drop-In
Firewall was set up to engage with vulnerable young people
at risk of offending and to provide them with a safe environment to
meet, build friendships and address the issues affecting
them.
Figures suggest that more than 30 young people are now
positively engaged in their local community and defying the recent
negative publicity.
Benefits
- Statistics suggest that anti-social behaviour is reducing as a
result of the project.
- Already some of the issues affecting young people are beginning
to be addressed within Firewall.
