The Kent Agreement

The Kent Agreement brings together organisations from across the county to increase independence and raise personal fulfilment among Kent residents.

The Agreement comprises the Local Area Agreement and the Local Public Service Agreement phase 2. These include important targets that have been agreed jointly between the Kent partners and government.

The targets are designed to be challenging but achievable. They reflect a move towards preventing problems rather than simply tackling them at a later stage.

The Agreement also aims to take forward the ambitions contained in the Vision for Kent - the county's community strategy.
