The Kent Partnership is made up of representatives from the
private, public and voluntary and community sectors. It has an
important role in encouraging community leadership, supporting new
initiatives and effective delivery of services.
In June 2005, Kent signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding' with
Virginia to develop links and mutual international benefits.
Private Finance Initiatives (PFIs) enable private sector money
to be used to fund public sector initiatives.
The voluntary and community sector has a vital role to play in
society and the delivery of excellent public services to the people
of Kent.
