Have you got something to say about local issues that affect you? Come along to your Local Board meetings to discuss important topics in your neighbourhood and find out about our services. You don't have to book a place, simply turn up to the meetings.

Meetings

We publish agendas, reports and notes for each meeting.

Rural policing and the Crispe House redevelopment were on the agenda at the last meeting on 22 January. The next meeting of the Thanet Local Board will be on 28 April at 7pm at Clarendon School Media Centre (formerly Baptist Church), Cavendish Street, Ramsgate, CT11 9AL. The Thanet Local Board will then meet on 21 July from 7pm, the venue is yet to be confirmed.

Funding for local projects

Each county council member can recommend local projects for financial support, up to £10,000 a year per councillor. Thanet Local Board members are listed below.

Each Local Board can also consider capital bids of up to £20,000 for larger projects, which will be considered alongside bids from other local projects in Kent.

There is also £400,000 available through the Local Schemes Grant. Apply for funding.
