Who can apply?
Awards can be made for revenue projects or for minor capital
schemes.
All are one-off grants for 2008/09, and there can be no reliance
on funding for future years.
The Local Schemes Grant can be combined with monies awarded from
Small Community Capital Grant but the two are not
interchangeable. Local Schemes Grant can also be supplemented by
awards under the
Member Community Grant scheme. You can also use the link to
supplement either the Small Community Capital Grant or the Member
Community Grant.
Local Schemes Grant awards should:
If your project does not address one or more of these
priorities, then it must be for something that will benefit the
community or to the services available Kent residents. You must be
able to demonstrate this in your application.
How to apply
Contact your
Local Board Member or
Community Liaison Manager to discuss any project you would like
them to support.
Local Boards will consider grant applications later in 2008.
They will make recommendations to Cabinet Members, who will then
decide the final grants. The process will be similar to that
operating for
Small Community Capital Grants. |
