Local Boards have three types of funds available to
support local community projects:
Member Community Grants
Each of our 84 county councillors can provide financial support
of up to £10,000 each year for projects that benefit local
communities. This funding has helped a wide range of projects
including youth groups, environmental projects and facilities for
older people.

Small Community Capital Projects
Each Local Board can consider bids up to £20,000 (except for
Dover which is £5,000) for larger capital projects. These grants
have helped voluntary organisations with equipment costs, funded
after-school clubs and helped preserve Kent's landscape.

Local Schemes Grant
There is £400,000 available through the Local Schemes Grant.
Please contact your
