Dover

We are trying out a new way of involving local people in the way public services are delivered. Instead of a local board for Dover, new neighbourhood forums for each ward will join up KCC with Dover District Council and the town and parish councils in one forum, giving residents greater influence over local services.

Come along to our neighbourhood forums and tell us about the issues affecting life where you live.

There are five neighbourhood forums in Dover:

For more information about why we are trying out these new neighbourhood forums in Dover, instead of a local board for Dover, read the background papers.

Special Dover Neighbourhood Forums

Special Dover Neighbourhood Forums meetings will be held on the LDF at Dover Town Hall on 9 April, arrival at 6pm to start at 6.30pm, and at Deal Town Hall on 16 April. Read the agenda for the meetings.

Each Local Board can also consider bids of up to £20,000 for larger projects, which will be considered alongside bids from other local projects in Kent.
