Members, my main responsibility is for the UKYP in Kent. Kent
returns 7 MYPs and has an equal number of deputies. These all
need supporting in their work towards local and regional
priorities, and in attending regional meetings and the Annual
Sitting.

 I'm John. As part of my job, I look after all
of the participation activities that go on in the West of Kent
and manage the Young People's Fund - a personal development
grant of between £25 and £75 open to individual young people
from the Kent County Council area.

 Hello I'm Caroline. My job in the team is to
support Jo & John in seeing that Youth Opportunity Fund
& grant panels are created and maintained in the 12
districts of Kent, and that the county wide Youth Capital Fund
panel takes place.

Hello, I'm Marc. As the Youth Participation Administrator, I
look after the paperwork and finances for the team, and provide any
admin support that the KYCC members need. Unlike the rest of the
team, I'm in the office from 8.30am to 5pm so am usually the
easiest person to get hold of. I'm happy to answer any queries you
may have about the work of the Youth Participation Team in
