Local Democracy Week 2007

Local Democracy Week 2007 was held from Monday 15 to Sunday 21 October.

To celebrate Kent County Council held some special events:

• 17 October, 1:40 to 3:10pm - Cabinet Member for Operations, Resources and Skills Mark Dance will be speaking on politics at the Kent Works masterclass. The class is for 14 to 19 year old students at Brands Hatch Conferencing Suite
• 17 October, 11am to 1pm - Cabinet Member Chris Wells will be talking to students studying Citizenship at the Marlowe Academy about what local democracy means to him
