By-election Dover Town

An election to fill the vacancy in the Dover Town Electoral Division took place on Thursday 27 September 2007.

Gordon Cowan, the Labour Party candidate, was elected. The results are as follows:

  • Campbell-Marshall - UKIP - 256 votes
  • Collor - Conservative Party - 1348
  • Cowan - Labour Party - 1860
  • Matcham - Independent - 300
  • Stiles - Liberal Democrat - 420

Gordon Cowan won with a 512 (19.5%) majority.
