The Cabinet provides leadership and direction for the county
council, setting policies and taking decisions that affect the
people of Kent.
Committees meet regularly to make decisions on policy and
budgetary matters for council services. We publish their agendas,
reports and minutes online.

The county council elections are held every four years. The last
one was held on 5 May 2005. To be eligible to vote, you have to be
on the electoral register.
