We look after Kent's natural and built environment while
encouraging better economic performance. We are also maintaining
and improving our transport network.
Transport and waste are our two big financial commitments. This
year marks the start of a new ten-year alliance with our external
partners to transform the delivery of
Kent Highway Services. This year also sees the opening of the
Allington Waste to Energy plant, which will help us divert waste
from landfill.
We take the corporate lead on regeneration, working with others
to make a real difference to communities across Kent.
We work to make Kent a better place to live, work and visit. The
services that we provide, and the future that we help to shape,
affects every household in Kent. So we put our customers at the
heart of everything we do.
