Volunteering Awards
For many years Kent
Volunteers ran the Awards for Volunteering Excellence, a scheme to
recognise and thank the thousands of volunteers who were already
doing so much within their communities.
With the help of the Award winners, Kent Volunteers were able to
showcase the range of volunteering activities taking place,
demonstrate that volunteering was not confined to any one
group and there was a volunteering activity for people of all ages
to get involved in.
Regrettably the Awards scheme is no longer running, however
Kent Volunteers is proud to continue to showcase the scheme winners
from the last few years.
If you would like to recognise and thank the volunteers in your
group or organisation, please contact your local borough, district
or city council for information on the local schemes they now
operate.
