How to get started
Many people would like to volunteer but may be unsure about
where to start. Depending on the type of volunteering you
would like to do, there are a number of ways to find out what is
available.
- If you would like to volunteer for something in your local
area, on of Kent's Volunteer Centres is the place to
start.
- For information on what is available further afield, there are
many county wide and national organisations who work
with volunteers.
- If you are a young person (16-24), or would like to work with
young
people, there are a range of organisations offering
volunteering roles.
- For employers who would like to offer volunteering to their
staff, information is available to advise you on the options
available.
