Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your local community, enjoy new experiences and learn new skills.

There are a wide variety of volunteering opportunities that offer something for everyone from hearing children read to maintenance projects in the countryside.

Volunteering opportunities offer a range of flexible timescales for taking part, whether you want to volunteer for:

  • a regular time commitment on a weekly or monthly basis
  • one off task with friends/colleagues involving a community project
  • on going involvement doing whatever is needed
